JCl gives CN a copy of the new Cometbus, "The Loneliness of the Electric Menorah," for the holidays. It is a history of bay area bookstores. I get from JCl a copy of some novel called Sashenka as a joke but can't bring self to read it. So I go out and buy the CN gift, the new Cometbus, at Pegasus yesterday, after buying a food scale at GNC, and then can't stop reading it until I finish it. It is so perfect. I keep reading passages of it out loud to anyone who will listen.
